I enjoyed a week plein air painting in Minnespolis, September 2021. The camera and I lurked our way through the Uptown district scoping out what wanted to be put on canvas.

This was actually day #2 of my adventure - I had seen it on Monday and knew I needed to come back when the sun was shining. I went INTO the cafe through the arched doorway behind the gentleman's table and bought a pastry and coffee, to enjoy while standing behind my easel, contemplating the first brushstoke. Yes, coffee ranks high on my list of most important painting tools  :)
