Behind the easel, on the street...

A painter friend and I painted in the Poudre River canyon past October, which I nonchalantly named

8 Miles Of Cache La Poudre.

So in a focused determination to keep my plein air skills fresh, I determined this time, to stay way close to home. The alley behind my home in Grinnell goes from 3rd Avenue to almost 11th Avenue, and so  the Cooper studio now boasts of a portfolio folder named

8 Blocks Of My Alley, Plein Air.

14 plein air etudes, and counting. They will all end up in this folder eventually so keep an eye out !
