I am loving this painting today.
Indeed, I signed it - and we all know what that means!
The painting is VERY wet. And VERY shiny. And VERY difficult to get a good image of.
We need this painting to rest in a safe place for a few days, and then I'll get the good camera out for a proper photo.
Until then, this is somewhat of a clue:
Hello!
There's a fun one on the easel at present. (yes, the studio easel, as the wind is blowing 231mph in Grinnell today)
This painting is not finished yet, but it already has a name. That's normally a good indicator of fun!
After Dinner Espresso.
The rough photo shows either camera blur, or a value weakening off to the right edge, which will need investigation tomorrow. Chair legs to locate, tops of various heads catching some of the light coming out the windows to the patio diners...a bit to do yet, but the feeling is good. And it was my espresso she was bringing out to the patio, so it was a fine evening indeed.
